The book sounds exciting.

Archie the wonder dog

I'm really enjoying seeing snippets of the book! That citrus really brightens up a rainy June morning - thanks for the blast of colour, I needed it!

Susan

Well Val, I don't usually do give aways... but since I probably have Patchworthy Apparel - or some book with you in many times as a kid - it would be nice to add this book to my collection.

On a different note: not many go to kindergarten not trained. And T is probably already trained, just to his liking.... control... ask me how I know.... had one who would not not go " I won't ". I took a trip and left the sitter the training pants and when I got back child was wearing them and going as needed... sitter never said anything and that was that.....

Lee

Thanks for a sneak peek of the book - looks great! thanks for the giveaway!

Is your quilt the one on the top right corner? I also must be an "antique" because I have a copy of Patchworthy Apparel too! Thanks for the give away.

I love Kona Ash...it works so well for me in so many projects!

Fond memories of the first book. Your mom was my first out of state teacher at my store and taught a class based on that book.

Oooooh, this looks like a fun book! I can't even believe how many colors of kona there are. Just when you think they've made every color .....

I am crazy about solids, so this would be a great book for me.. Take my little entry and crinkle it up three different times and then throw it in the basket!! Never hurts to wish for a little good luck!

I would love to add this book to my library. So many possibilities...

I'm not that great at making solid projects, I'm always working with prints, so I'd love to read this book and learn how to do it!

Barbara

It's amazing how many of us still have that first book of your mom's, Patchworthy Apparel. Being from Oregon originally, I have known about your mother since she taught a class at Daisy Kingdom in Portland (if memory serves). I have been following her career and yours ever since. You are both wonderful inspirations to the quilt/sewing world. Thank you.

Mandy

So many wonderful colors, so many ways to use solids to create your own vision of the world.......can't wait to see the book!
