Ok I have to say I am totally excited about this.....my girlfriend Andrea called me the other day to say that she saw my fabric on tv. I was a surprised.....want to know more!!?? Well, TNT cable network is doing a movie called Gifted Hands - on the preview of this movie there is a beautiful woman wearing a dress - at least I think it is a dress all you see is from the waist up - out of my Brown Roses from Olive Rose..... I have now seen the preview - so cool - and am going to record the movie. It airs tomorrow night at 8pm - I think it will actually be a great movie - it stars Cuba Gooding Jr.
Here is my brown roses. I have to tell you it makes me want to make a dress out of the fabric. I do have a skirt but a dress would be do pretty. Thank goodness for Andrea she had the eagle eye for my fabric!! Thanks girl!!!

That's so awesome!! Whenever I see your fabric at a quilt shop or in something made by someone else I get really excited, and in my head I'm saying, "I know her!!! I know the designer of that fabric!" :)

Oh My Gosh...that's exciting Valori. Just last week I got a warm feeling about Cuba Gooding Jr. because in an interview I read he mentioned, "The rock in my life, the spiritual anchor, was my mom." Similar to the man he portrays in that movie (your fabric is in)--That one comment gave me strength to be a better mom.

Hi Valeri, I have a pillowcase I made years ago from your gorgeous zinnia fabric. It is my travel pillow, I don't leave home without it. When I was at the Sisters High School taking a class during quilt show week, I was laying on the grass taking a nap on my zinnia pillow and you walked by and told me it was a great pillow!

Hello!! I found your Olive Rose quilt pattern and fell absolutely in love with the pattern and all the beautiful fabrics. After weeks of hunting up the fabrics, I am stitching the quilt for my daughter as a high school graduation gift. I think she will love it.
I think it is great fun to read about you, and the Stitchin' Post etc. Love all of your art!
